What does "No Win, No Fee" actually mean?
What injuries can I claim for?
You can claim for any injury caused by someone else’s negligence, however minor. How much you receive depends on how serious the injury is and how long it takes to heal.
How much will I get?
It depends on your injury, how long you take to recover, and any financial losses such as lost earnings and treatment costs. Compensation for the injury itself is assessed using medical evidence and published guidelines, so we can only give a realistic range once we know what happened. Fixed amounts set by law apply to many minor whiplash-type injuries from car accidents.
Is there a time limit on submitting a claim for personal injuries?
Usually three years from the date of the accident. If the injured person was under 18, the three years starts on their 18th birthday, so they have until their 21st birthday, and a parent or guardian can claim sooner. Other exceptions can apply. See the time limits to start a claim.
How long will a claim for personal injury take to settle?
Simple claims with a minor injury and no dispute can settle in around 3 to 6 months. Most take 6 to 12 months, and serious injuries or disputed fault can take 2 years or more. See how long a car accident claim takes to settle.
Do I need to have reported my injuries to my GP or hospital?
It can be beneficial to have a written record of the injuries either at your GP or hospital but this is not essential. If you have not been to visit your GP or hospital it should not prevent you from presenting a claim.
Who will represent me in my claim for personal injuries?

Can I be compensated for losses other than injuries?
You are entitled to recover any loss which you incur as a result of an accident including damaged clothing, expenses and loss of earnings.
What is the difference between a claims specialist and a solicitor?
A claims specialist manages your claim and handles the practical side, such as recovery, repairs, replacement vehicles, evidence and updates. A solicitor handles the legal work where needed.
Can I claim if the accident was partly my fault?
Yes. Your compensation may be reduced to reflect your share of the blame, but you can still claim.
What if the other driver had no insurance or drove off?
You may still be able to claim through the Motor Insurers’ Bureau. Report the accident to the police as soon as possible and contact us.
What evidence do I need to make a claim?
Photos, witness details, medical records, receipts and dashcam footage all help. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything; we’ll help you gather it.
Can I claim back my medical costs?
